Our S80-KR-adapter External Power Cable provides all of the new KR-S80 series locks with external dc power if using an old style 3.5mm AC adapter.
It can be plugged directly into the lock for full power with out the use of batteries or it can be used to power up to 5 locks that are chained together. The cable is a USB to 3.5 mm connector and is to adapt the old (3.5mm style plug to C) plugs into the 115 VAC adapter. The included power cable is for all new locks with the C connector with the older 3.5mm AC/DC power adapter cable. The new locks are now using the USB-c connector (see our P/N S80-ACDC-C. The AC/DC adapter should still be used because it has a higher current output.
